Sleek MakeUP Solstice Highlighting Palette

AHHHHHHHH!!! How beautiful is this?!
Holy highlighting heaven!

Box packaging

I have been lusting after this palette since Sleek MakeUP started teasing about it on twitter. The day after the release, I went and hunted it down. I found this baby hidden behind the Precious Metals Highlighting palette. So, if you think it's sold out, definitely have a look behind, under and around everything. I got mine from Boots, Northampton.

Let's get down to it then. Whilst the Precious Metal palette consists of 3 cream formulas and 1 powder, the Solstice palette has 1 cream formula, 1 silky shimmery shade and 2 baked highlighters.

It consists of 4 shades:
- Ecliptic (Top Left): Cream - Pink Rose Gold
- Subsolar (Bottom Left): Powder - Pale Yellow
- Hemisphere (Top Right): Baked - Pinky-lilac
- Equinox (Bottom Right): Baked - Warm Orange

Here are some swatches!

Left: Swatched heavily using my fingers. Right: Swatched using a blending brush.

This is it swatched again using my fingers: Left to Right: Ecliptic, Hemisphere, Subsolar and Equinox. Love these names!

The cream highlighter (Ecliptic) has such a beautiful smooth texture and all the other powder highlighters are super pigmented and finely milled. I have always been impressed by Sleek MakeUP products and this does not disappoint.

This product can be used on the face and body, giving you a radiant glow. Here is a face chart by Sleek MakeUP, showing you where you can apply each shade.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THAT PACKAGING!

Gold-dammmmnnn! All Sleek MakeUP products (except for this) have a black simple packaging, which I actually do like. Their packaging are always very 'Sleek'... HA. and looks very professional.
But this gold packaging looks so amazing, reflective and soooo luxuriously expensive. HOWEVER, it does get dirty really easily, fingerprints everywhere.

This retails for £9.99 and is available in Boots and Superdrug. Online at SleekMakeUP.com, it is £10.00.

I adore this palette. It's easy to get carried away with the highlighting as it is such a pigmented product. Light hand and tap the away the excess. I recommend using fluffy blending brush or a fan brush to apply this on the tops of your cheek and your fingers to apply them down the centre of your face.

Hope this review has helped. Let me know what you think about this palette!

Love,
Karen x
