RED QUEEN / QUEEN OF HEARTS
Second look in my Alice In Wonderland Makeup Series
This look unintentionally doubles as a Harlequin look from Batman. It was only a couple of days after when I realised that it looks kinda like a Harlequin look because of the neck piece and the mouth. 2 for 1?
I am trying to experiment with different textures and shapes, hence, the glossy lids and overdrawn pointy lips. I need to learn to balance the whole look and not get carried away by adding more and more. The contour is inspired by Maleficent, since, the Red Queen is a bad lady. Grrr!
Products used:
FACE// Mixed the white from the imagic flash palette with my foundation to lighten it, Black eye shadow from the Sleek MakeUP original palette to contour, Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in 'Pink Lights'
EYES// imagic MUFE Flash palette dupe in red and black for around the eyes and brows
Rhinestones from 'The Range' craft store, Red Cherry lashes '#103' for bottom lashes (no top lashes)
LIPS// Maybelline lip liner in 'Pleasure me red', Sleek MakeUP Matte me lip cream in 'Rioja Red' Carmex lip balm for some gloss.
NECK// Snazaroo face paints in red and black
