Purple and Orange with a touch of gold!
Sleek MakeUP Ultra Matts V1 |
You may have seen this palette sold in Superdrug and Boots (in the UK) and wondered 'Why would I buy that?' Sleek MakeUP makes amazing eye shadows and their pigmentation are generally pretty good.
Let's blend some colour on them lids and wish the cold, drab weather away.
1) Prime the lids and set it with a nude eye shadow. The primer will help keep your eye shadow on all day and improve the vibrancy of the colour. The nude eye shadow will set the primer and make any eye shadow applied on top become easier to blend.
USED: Smashbox Photo Finish lid primer and 'W.O.S' from the Urban Decay Naked Basic 1.
2) Blend a light/medium brown colour on the crease to help blend the purple. Apply purple eye shadow on the crease with a fluffy brush.
3) Apply the orange on the lid.
USED: Purple and orange from Sleek MakeUP Ultra Matts V1 palette
4) Re-apply more purple and deepen the socket with a touch of black/dark purple eye shadow. Apply purple on the lower lashes.
5) Add a dab of gold on the tear duct area. Apply your wing liner and black kohl liner in the waterline.
USED: Gold eye shadow from Sleek Makeup Rio Rio palette, Maybelline gel liner (wing liner), Smashbox Limitless eyeliner in 'Onyx' (waterline)
